Chapter 230: Divinity
Monn spent two days in a time warp chasing after a giant Kobold.
Through these two days of love to kill each other, Monn just know this angry giant Kobold, was the Dog God.
Uh. No, the Canine God.
All canids, the God of canid orcs.
But he unintentionally sabotaged this Canine God, by the heavenly axiom acquiesce to lose the qualification of the God.
The giant Kobold that Heaven had taken back his divine spark was only a slightly stronger orc than the other orcs.
From an ordinary orc to a race’s God, how many trials and tribulations would he have to go through? Even if he didn’t say it out loud, Monn could imagine it.
But his original intention wasn’t to plunder the Dog God’s divine status.
Who asked this Dog God, who was obviously a God, to come and fight with a mortal like him.
He was also forced into a helpless situation.
Of course, if he had known in advance that this giant dog Kobold was a Dog God, not only would he not have done so, he might have done something even crazier.
For example, he would have thrown out some of the useless gadgets that his system had given him.
He would let the giant Kobold have a good taste of them.
Even if he couldn’t kill, that would be enough to make the giant Kobold so angry that it would want to show off his true colors.
Things were going strange. He was the person who had made the Dog God lose its divine personality, but why didn’t he change.
Even the legend that if one could defeat the God, one would be able to obtain the other party’s divine personality didn’t happen.
As expected, a legend was a legend.
They were all just fooling children.
Monn had already pressed down countless times, when Reynolds sensed that there was a third battle outside, because Reynolds wanted to run out from the cloth bag that was tied to Monn’s belt with all kinds of glazed balls and the sulphur balls that he used to shoot flame cracking bullets with.
This guy was not properly absorbing the dragon’s blessing inside.
He wanted to join in on all the fun.
Was Reynolds done with his life?
Monn unceremoniously pushed Reynolds back with a force that Reynolds couldn’t resist.
Reynolds protested unhappily. He was being kind and wanted to help.
If this guy didn’t know how to be grateful, then forget it.
Since Monn still despised him for being troublesome…
Reynolds originally wanted to let out a dragon roar.
But when he lowered his head to look at his small size, he thought about it and decided to forget it.
With his current appearance, he would probably only cause trouble for the other party if he went out.
He might even become a big treasure in the eyes of his benefactor’s enemies.
The enemies might thought they had captured a dragon whelp to be educated.
Perhaps one might even have an unexpected harvest.
If the dragon whelp was taken away and raised by humans since it was young, just like a baby.
It grew up the way how people educated it.
How important the loyalty of a dragon was, just look at the few empires on the continent now.
How long a dragon could live depended entirely on the cultivation speed of the dragon, but no matter what.
Even a stupid dragon could live for 500-600 years.
It was enough for a country to grow from weak to unshakable.
“Be good for a while.”
Monn was busy running for his life and didn’t have the energy to spare for Reynolds.
“Why aren’t you properly absorbing the dragon’s blessing? Why are you always thinking about coming out? Don’t tell me you want to always be a baby dragon. Let’s be clear, there’s no way I’m going to feed you milk.”
“There’s no way I’m going to find milk for you.”
Monn thought of not feeding Reynolds, but finding milk for Reynolds.
He immediately added on.
“I just want to help you.”
Reynolds said this in a muffled voice, then shut himself up and huddled into a sack, not moving.
“Thank you. You should just worry about yourself! I’m facing a God who just lost his divine personality. And a God who’s driven mad by me.”
Monn was a little proud as he bought a pair of one-time use windstorm boots from the system store.
Looking at his work card points, Monn felt a little comforted.
Even though he hadn’t had the chance to clock in for a long time.
But the points he had accumulated in the past were enough for him to live a few days of leisure.
Even though it cost 224 points.
It was worth it.
A one-time use windstorm battle boots. He could only wear it once.
Durability: 1200.
User’s agility increased by 50 points and his speed increased by 1271 points.
Monn glanced at his character panel.
His speed had now reached 3306 points.
With his speed of 3306 points, and his Space Walking.
Even though the giant Kobold had long legs and long arms, he could only shake his head as he looked at Monn’s back.
As for the giant Kobold’s attack, with the temporary increase of 50 points of agility, Monn was like a lively fish.
His movements were as enchanting as he could be.
Every time the giant Kobold saw that it was about to hit Monn, Monn would twist his body from side to side and narrowly dodge it.
“Kobold, aren’t you tired after chasing me for so long? Aren’t you bored? Even if you dogs are loyal and loving animals, there’s no need to be like this! If the two of us are trapped here, who knows when our lives will end here. Why don’t we talk about it outside?”
Monn was still trying to convince the giant Kobold not to fight to the death with him.
The giant Kobold opened its mouth and spat out not ice flames, icicles, ice balls, or ice blades.
Instead, it spat out a mouthful of black-red blood. It was almost impossible to tell how much red it was. It had a dark aura and a rotten smell.
“You’re a good Dog God. Why did you take things too far and become the demon’s Lackey? It’s not like you don’t know that those people from the Abyss, whether they are demons or monsters, are greedy creatures full of deceit.”
Monn knew that this giant Kobold had lost the protection of its divine personality.
Now, it was being targeted by those guys from the Abyss.
It had taken many benefits from the other party before, and now it had to return them in multiples.
And without the divine personality, the giant Kobold simply couldn’t bring out any benefits that the existences from the Abyss could see in exchange for its own life.
Wasn’t it just the bloodline and power that still contained divinity in their bodies?
The blood that was extracted alive and still contained divinity and the power of the Dog God.
How much blood did a creature have in its body.
And the amount of blood that truly contained divinity and power was pitifully small.
Looking at the posture of spitting out blood,.
It was obvious that the blood that didn’t have divinity and the power of the Dog God, as well as the blood that had absorbed the power of the Dog God and activated part of the bloodline power, would be screened out from the blood that only contained the blood of the Kobolds.
The Kobold’s bloodline that was not favored by the existences of the Abyss would be spat out.
It was so painful to look at.
As for the giant Kobold’s body, it was shrinking rapidly as more and more blood was spat out.
