“Get out of the way, stop blocking my path!” Qin Youxuan glanced at the elevator now at the first floor and her face cooled.

They now had nothing to say to each other. Since the day he returned to the country, it was inevitable they’d have this confrontation, it was just happening a little earlier than expected.

Qin Youxuan dispelled the gloom in her eyes and straightened her back.

Jin Chenye followed her gaze and glanced at the floor indicator of the elevator, then pushed the button for the top floor.

The elevator doors just opened and then slowly closed, resuming its climb.

“Are you insane?”

Qin Youxuan, who was about to step out of the elevator, was yanked back by him, causing her to curse indignantly.

She forcefully shook off his arm, walked to the elevator’s control panel, and was about to press the button for the next floor when her hand was held by Jin Chenye.

Both of his hands grasped her shoulder, pressing her hard against the control panel, lifting her chin, “Have you even listened to a word I have said? I’ve said, I will never compete with you for the Qin Group, not then, not now, not ever!”
